It’s the holidays here at Outschool UK, and we are excited to share some easy seasonal crafts for you and your family to do together. This craft is a lovely one to decorate your home this holiday season, pipe cleaner tree ornaments.
Pipe Cleaner Tree Ornaments
Materials;
- A handful of dark green pipe cleaners (go careful, the ends are spiky!)
- A lolly pop stick
- Craft supplies for decoration, such as pom poms, stickers, glitter glue (optional)
Instructions;
- Take your lolly stick and wrap a pipe cleaner around it. Continue wrapping them round it until it is covered with just a little poking out at either end.
- Take another pipe cleaner and tie it round the now covered lolly pop stick, leaving the long ends poking out either side.
- Continue with step 2 until the lolly pop stick is covered.
- With a pair of scissors cut diagonally from the top to the bottom to create that classic christmas tree look on each side.
- If you like, you can take one of the pieces you’ve cut off, fold it in half to make a point. Wrap the ends around the top of the lolly pop stick to give the tree its iconic pointed top.
- Now it’s time to decorate. You can put pom poms on like baubles, or glitter glue like tinsel. Anything you like!
