"Outschool has given me the opportunity to work wherever I call home and manage a growing, online teaching business! I love how I’m able to run my business while spending more time with my family, following my passions & hobbies and continue travelling!"
Rachelle, Aus
"I've been teaching on Outschool since 2020, initially as a side line, but it's now my main income. I left the traditional school system feeling burned out and fed up with the endless assessments, constant pressure and jumping through hoops – it was not fun anymore. Teaching on Outschool has literally changed my life! It has given me a way to have all the positive parts of teaching and absolutely none of the bits I hated. I still can't believe how much I am earning from home on my own terms!"
Linda, UK
Outschool does not require formal teaching qualifications. We believe that many adults can offer rewarding classes based on their experience and interests. We require enhanced criminal background (DBS) checks and a class approval process. Teachers must be residents of the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Wales or England.

We do our best to simplify the logistics, so you can focus on crafting the class experience.
Our learners are between the ages 3 and 18 and come from all over the world! We celebrate their diversity. For example, within one class, you may have a learner from your home country, a home educated learner from the US and a learner from Asia who is learning English as a second language.
We encourage you to teach topics you are passionate about and experienced with, and ideally that you have taught before. We welcome classes on all subjects and in all formats. We generally encourage a balanced mix. For example, you might offer an ongoing, weekly class and a one-time introductory class or a 4-week curricular class.
It's free to list classes on Outschool. Outschool processes a 30% service fee to cover the infrastructure, marketing, and quality support provided.
