How to keep records of your child's learning on Outschool

When a child attends school in the UK, they receive several school reports that document their learning, but what can you do to record their learning on Outschool? Find out here.

If you are looking for a way to record your child's classes they take on Outschool, there are some different options. While some may not feel it is necessary to do this, others are keen to keep that record and you may be wondering how you can do that easily on Outschool.

    Grab their Learner Transcript

Did you know that on the Outschool website, you can find a list of all the classes they have taken? If you head to the drop down menu on the top right of the site, you can scroll down and select Transcripts:

    Transcripts

When you select this, you can filter the list of classes each of your children has taken. This shows all completed classes, from most recent to the least recently completed. For any current or future classes, you need to check out your schedule.

You can copy and paste this list into a document as your record. It's as simple as that!

    Certificates of Completion

If you are looking for certificates to mark your child's completion of a course, then this is not something that is usually issued on Outschool. Individual teachers may offer this as an additional service to parents. You would need to send a message to the teacher to see if they can provide this if it is not specified on the class listing.

You can also create your own certificates to either present to your child or to add to a folder as a record.

We have also created some blank certificates you can print off and complete for each class your child completes. Here's a preview of one of them:
