This month, courtesy of Beam Living, pick from a list of virtual classes from Outschool.
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3 to get started!
1. Choose a class from the list below! Please note: in order to allow all families to use this benefit, please limit yourself to 1 class per learner.
2. Enroll your learner(s) in the class section of your choice. You will be charged $1 but this cost will be refunded.
3. Keep an eye on the classroom for supply lists and updates from the teacher! When it is time for class to start, enter the classroom and click the green "Join Meeting" button. Here's a GIF on how to navigate our site:

Tuesday, February 23rd at 1:00PM | Bold Men in Black History Series: Louis Armstrong | Join me for this one-time class and learn about Louis Armstrong and the time period in which he lived. |
Wednesday, February 24th at 11:30AM (EST) | The Origins of Black History Month - How and Why It Started | This class details the history of Black History Month in America, including some little-known facts, and why the month was created. |

Thursday, February 25th at 1:30PM (EST) | Five African American Inventions That Have Impacted Our Lives | This Black History class will cover five important inventions created and developed by African-Americans that we use in our everyday lives! |
Friday, February 26th at 11:00AM (EST) | Influential Women From Black History: Michelle Obama | Students will get to learn about the incredible and amazing Michelle Obama. |
Friday, February 26th at 12:30PM (EST) | Bold Women in Black History Series: Ruby Bridges | Join me for this one-time class and learn about Ruby Bridges, Jim Crow laws, and Brown vs. Board of Education. |
